The past couple of days have been a lot of fun for us! On Thursday, we took Madi and Taylor to the pool for the first time of the season. It was Madi's first time in the pool! She seemed to enjoy it a lot! The place we went to has a little kiddie pool and the water is very, very warm.
The only thing she doesn't care for is the brightness. Taylor was the same way. She barely is able to open her eyes when outside. Hopefully she will grow into that pretty quickly.
We put on her stylish little shades instead.......
Taylor had a lot of fun swimming around the kiddie pool. She played with a couple of other little girls, one of which has Ds too! It is so funny.....I never would have noticed kids with special needs before but now......I have the "radar" for it! Everywhere I go now, I am able to seek out and find at least one child with either Ds or cerebral palsy. It's great to see them all......and they are all doing so awesome!!! It is very encouraging!
Yesterday, we went to Parker Days! It's a standard festival with all the booths, food, bands and of course, carnival rides. Taylor is her mamma's daughter......she LOVES the rides, just like I used to and still do! We had quite the meltdown at the end of the night when it was time to go!
I can hardly wait until she is a little bit bigger......then we can go on all the big, crazy rides! She was so funny, though......we went on the spinning tea cups and we couldn't make it spin fast enough for her. She would help me spin it, put her arms up in the air and laugh and scream Faster!! The two teenage girls in the ride with us thought she was crazy!
