On Saturday, we celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary! We went out to a fancy dinner and went to see the Hangover 2. We were thinking about it, we haven't celebrated our anniversary since our 1st anniversary. One of us has always been working, no time off, no money, etc. etc. etc.....

It was great to finally celebrate it for once!!! While we were having drinks before our dinner reservation, we were saying to each other, "So, this is what it's like to get dressed up and eat without the kids?!?!" It has been so long since we have went to a nice restaurant and not an Applebee's or Chili's or some other kid friendly restaurant! AND......we could actually take our time eating! We didn't have to inhale our food before one of the kiddos has a meltdown!
On Sunday, we had Taylor's first dance recital!

For those of you wondering......she took a "digger" at school 2 days beforehand.....so, of course, she has a scrapped up nose.

The little girl's were so stinking cute! Taylor was so funny.....she kept hollering out to us saying hi throughout the whole performance! "Hi Momma! Hi Daddy! Hi Gigi!" And yes, she has a LOUD voice, just like her momma! So, of course, everyone could hear her!
This next fall she will be taking a Ballet/Jazz class, so she will get to perform in two songs next year. She also will have the opportunity to perform the Daddy/Daughter dance. Mark would get to learn a dance with her and perform it! Toooooo precious!
Overall, it was a really great weekend!
