Denver Aquarium

This last weekend, we took a trip to the Denver Aquarium.  It was amazing!!!  I had been there before with Taylor but she was not quite 2 years old and she didn't appreciate it then like she did now.  And I was surprised.....Madi was taking it all in, too!  She loved it!  She was sitting in the stroller and she would sit forward to try and get closer to the fish!

Well, hello there, Mister Turtle!

The best part of the day was the Mermaid experience!  They had 3 girls in full-on "mermaid" outfits swimming in one of the big tanks with the huge fish!  They did this whole synchronized swimming routine to "princess-like" music.........Taylor loved it!  It really was cool.......they were able to hold their breathe and swim around for a very long period of time before going back up for air.

And it was cool to see the big ole' turtles swimming around with them!

Being there made me want to go on vacation!!!!  Oh, what I wouldn't do to spend a week somewhere tropical......snorkeling with these same fish!  Okay, maybe not the sharks!
